An easy origami bow in an easy to follow step by step photo tutorial.
I used 13 x 18 cm thick paper, but you could use half of printer paper, or A5 paper, or smaller.
These cute bows would look lovely as an embellishment on a gift or card! You can round the edges or not, the rounded ones look like the bow from Hello Kitty!

with the paper in portrait, fold in half horizontally. 
unfold 
now fold both sides in to the centre, this is a cupboard base. 
fold the bottom up to the top 
fold the left side to the right while reverse folding the bottom left edge. 
flatten out 
do the same on right side and turn over 
do the same folds on both sides 
fold both front flap and back flap the other way 
fold one layer down 
fold the back layer backwards 
fold both corners into the center 
turn over and fold the other two corners to the center 
now unfold from the bottom 
pull gently but firmly depending on the type of paper you have used 
this is the back
